Getting the people side of Organizations working effectively

More client and customer comments

I can express sincere gratitude to Anita Mountain and Chris Davidson for their work on supporting the development of our Youth Offending Services, since their inception in 1999-2000. The various processes employed, to enable staff members, particularly in the "early days", to voice their sense of frustration at the constant changes pressed on the Service and the "sense of loss" experienced on moving away from their home agency, proved invaluable.
Without going through this, the Service would never have been able to reach its current level of development and operation.
The use of relevant models and paradigms was particularly helpful in allowing staff members to understand in an objective way, how and why the Team was performing, or not, in the way it was at various points in time.
In conclusion, I feel this primary outcome from the Team Development Programme is a staff group who have accepted common goals, values and the delivery of outcomes.

I have worked with Anita and Chris over a number of years in a variety of capacities. These have included accessing Chris and Anita as personal trainers for colleagues and myself in order to develop our Transactional Analysis and Organizational Development skills. Anita has been my personal supervisor for a number of years and has worked with me numerous times as a training consultant on a National Leadership Development Programme.
In all of these contexts Anita and Chris have been warm, approachable and person centred. Their approach to work has been very organized and well planned, structured according to the agreed contract and negotiable in meeting the individual needs of the people they are working with. Their style of working is collaborative and sensitive to unforeseen circumstances and needs, which may arise therefore demonstrating a high level of effectiveness and positive outcomes in the work that they do.
Training and supervision / coaching has always been carried out in a professional ethical and knowledgeable manner within a spirit of enabling personal growth, self esteem and the facilitation of a partnership of knowledge sharing.
My personal development outcomes have very much been achieved through attending the training and supervision sessions at Beechwood. Also the workshop carried out by Anita on the National Leadership Programme has been very highly evaluated with many requests for more.
